Superior Grade - This grade is ideal for jobs where a very uniform colour and reduced black mineral streaks are desired. No brown heart wood on the face. Usually for jobs with a clear finish.

Superior Grade - This grade is ideal for jobs where a very uniform colour and no sap on the face of the door is desired. Usually for jobs with a clear or light coloured stain finish.

Paint Grade - believe it or not, some people do paint walnut. For this you will see colours all over the place and some wood fill on the front. We don't recommend painting such a beautiful wood but we get it for a rub through finish.
Standard Grade - We allow up to 25% sap on the face of your doors with this grade. It's ideal for when you want the heart and sap look or if you are putting a darker stain on the project.
Superior Grade - This grade is ideal for jobs where a very uniform dark colour is desired. Usually for jobs with a clear finish. The picture best represents our superior grade.

Standard Grade - Lots of colour variation and worm holes. Not selected for colour but that is the beauty of this wood.
Superior Grade - Not really necessary for this wood but superior will be picked for even more worm holes and colour variation.
